Beth Moon, a San Francisco-based female photographer, has been traveling more than 15 years and 5 continents to record the oldest, largest and rarest trees in the world with her camera. The 60 finest photographs had been featured in the book called “Ancient Trees: Portraits of Time.” “Standing as the Earth’s largest and oldest living,” said the photographer, “I believe these symbolic trees will take on a greater significance, especially at a time when our focus is directed at finding better ways to live with the environment.”
