The world’s oldest skyscrapers are in Shibam, a town existed for around 2,000 years in Hadramawt, Yemen, where there’re around 7,000 inhabitants and most of the buildings are from the 16th century, people built their houses out of mud bricks to protect them from Bedouin attacks.
