Cherry blossoms, the most treasured flowers in Japan, some Japanese say that this ephemeral beauty is a reminder of how life itself is fleeting. National Geographic invited community members to provide best photographs of the short-lived beauty of the blossoms to celebrate the arrival of cherry blossom season.
