During firefly mating season on Japan’s Kyushu Island,Russian photographer Daniel Kordan captured a mesmerizing series of photographs showing an enchanted bamboo forest full of little stars. Firefly is a type of luminuous beetle that producese light from its body for attracting mates, each blinking pattern is an optical signal that helps them find potential mates. Source
