These artistic and tasty treats inspired by architecture and sculpture are created by 21-year-old architect and dessert enthusiast Marie Troïtskaia, also known as Marie Oiseau; she first plans the cake as an architectural project, and then accordingly thinks about ingredients and flavor composition. “For me, cakes – they’re art objects; I’m inspired by architecture, architects (Gehry, Le Corbusier, Gaudi, Utzon), architectural objects, artists, cities, materials, textures. I especially love to draw chocolate panoramas and create my own chocolate cities!” Marie states her creative passion behind these artistic cakes.
