With the help of a new camera system, the High Dynamic Range Stereo X (HiDyRS-X), scientists captured images of rocket flames of new booster (QM-2) for NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) that provide an insight into extremely bright environments without darkening the rest of the image, this revolutionary technology works by capturing multiple slow motion videos of different exposures simultaneously and then combining them into one high-quality clip.
