Sugar is slower to impact our health, and that slow destructive process is the most dangerous. Excess sugar in our diets is known to lead to Type 2 Diabetes, heart disease, independent of its effect on weight and negative impact on our teeth, even cause neurotic disorders like claustrophobia, memory loss, etc. The Diabetes Association of Thailand commissioned Thai designer Nattakong Jaengsem to create a campaign to raise public awareness about the dangers that sugar poses to our health. The campaign named “Sweet Kills” show us serious consequences caused by Type 2 Diabetes with shocking pictures. Try and limit processed foods, desserts, snacks and drinks with excess sugar.
