Misha Shyukin and Hannes Hummel, Cologne-based duo artists, have been developing an ongoing project called Artificial Bloom that explores the aesthetic of the natural world. “It was fascinating to find that a lot of floral and plant structures follow certain mathematical rules,” says Shyukin, “which we could replicate and apply to our own structures.” The artists exert the concept on their project and create mesmerizing digital renderings highlighting variety of organic structures and natural patterns.
