Brazil-based artist Janaina Mello Landini has been developing her “Ciclotrama” series over six years, as part of the complex installations, these sculptural artworks are comprised of unbraided ropes that seem to branch through the air and spread onto surfaces, and look like tree roots and nervous systems.
