Inspired by traditional Chinese “round fan” and “window frames”, Netherlands-based designer Arthur Limpens of Allocacoc DesignNest brings a functional and aesthetical desktop light design called “Heng Balance Lamp” that opens a new way to break the traditional lamp and won a Red Dot Design Award. This unique lamp design breaks away from traditions, which features a magnetic switch in mid-air, a pair of magnets suspended on strings.
