It seems that Laurent Craste, a Montreal-based artist, has been fascinated by mistreating porcelain vases with all kinds of weapons like hacking knife, axe, nails, crowbar, scissors, baseball bat and so on. The series of distorted porcelain vases is entitled Sévices, in which these poor porcelain vases are subjected to the worst treatment or nailed to the wall or trampled, etc.
