Loes Heerink, a keen photographer once living in Vietnam for many years, focused on migrant workers of Hanoi, the capital city of this country. Most of the hundreds of street vendors are women, waking up at 4 am daily, they pack bicycles with fruits, flowers and vegetables and peddle miles around Hanoi back and forth all the day. Loes Heerink patiently on many bridges of Hanoi waited for vendors and captured these bouquet-like photos when they unknowingly passed below the bridge. “I once spent five hours in a location with no shots,” the photographer said. “This project started my fascination for the women carrying their goods. They have no clue how beautiful their bicycles are, no idea they create little pieces of art every day.”
