New floral hair ornaments by Japanese artist Sakae

Narita-based Sakae handcrafts the most beautiful hair ornaments we’ve ever seen. The Japanese artist creates flowers-inspired hairpieces known as kanzashi, the hair pieces made from small pieces of folded cloth in traditional Japanese hairstyles, Sakae creatively uses some new mediums like liquid synthetic resin and brass wire to handcraft these uniquely exquisite pieces, depending on the complexity, which take a few days to a month to make. Sakae shares her works on Pinterest and occasionally puts one piece up for sale through Yahoo Auctions in Japan.
