Artist Stephanie Kilgast beautifies discarded objects with colorful natural growths like mushrooms, coral-Like growths
Vannes, France based artist Stephanie Kilgast uses discarded objects she collected from thrift stores and trash cans like crushed cans, empty paint tube, plastic beverage bottles and embellishes these disposable materials with vibrant mushrooms and coral-like growths. “Nature itself is full of bright colors, ” says Stephanie Kilgast, referring to her idea, “it’s inherently beautiful, and my work is an ode to all the living and existing species, (except) for us. Hope dies last, so I still hope my work opens up discussion, thinking, and eventually change.” Source
