Italian sculptor Valeriano Fatica turns a fresh watermelon into a realistic dragon head

It’s really hard to believe that this frighteningly realistic dragon’s head is carved from a fresh watermelon. Valeriano Fatica, a gifted Italian sculptor, likes to describe himself as a “painter, sculptor, performer, carver of fruits and vegetables.” By using a variety of knives and shaping tools, Fatica can turn watermelons, pumpkins and even potatoes into fantastic masterpieces.
