Beautiful Chromatic Typewriter Modified From An Old Typewriter

This unique “painting” device named “Chromatic Typewriter” was modified from a 1937 Underwood Standard typewriter by Tyree Callahan, a Washington-based painter, who replaced the letters and keys with color pods and hued labels and submitted it as an entry for the 2012 West Prize competition, which is awarded via popular vote.
