16-year-old girl using herself as a model to depict what she would have looked like in each decade from 1920 through today
The “Counter // Culture” photo project by Annalisa Hartlaub, a 16-year-old Ohio State University student, using herself as a model, depicts fashion trend changes from the 1920s to 2010s and compares mainstream and counterculture fashion history of each decade nearly 100 years. The photo series was firstly created for her photography class, “I’ve always been fascinated, and a bit infatuated, with counterculture and how it shapes society and mainstream culture as well,” Hartlaub told The Huffington Post, “So I decided to mix that interest with my love of fashion, makeup, and photography to create something.”

She didn’t get any of the hairstyles right. Looks like she put on an old wig for some and just flipped her hair around for others. Needs to go read a history book.
