Vanishing Act – Amazing animal camouflage photos by 61-year-old artist
Seattle-based photographer Art Wolfe spent about 25 years to create amazing “Vanishing Act” project, animals in the photo collection were coloured and shaped so that they cannot easily be spotted at the first sight in their natural surroundings, such as leaves, branches, rocks, snow, etc, were used to make it difficult for natural enemy to see, including human being as well. The project started in 1980 and released in 2005. 61-year-old artist said, “This collection has been a long time in the making. Finding and filming animals on location is an exhilarating and painstaking process. I’m still adding to the project even now.”
