Amazing hand-drawn 3D optical illusions on walls by Katy Ann Gilmore

Katy Ann Gilmore, a Los Angeles-based visual artist, uses pens and markers to hand-draw three-dimensional optical illusions on flat surfaces like wall or paper. Gilmore graduated in 2014 and got a BA in Mathematics, Art, and Spanish from Greenville College, Illinois and an MFA in Visual Art from Azusa Pacific University, California, the educational and professional background has heavily influenced her creation concept and reflected in her works. Katy Ann Gilmore has a pretty good understanding of depth and know how to manipulate perspective, these combination of straight and curved lines blur the perceptual boundary between the flat surface and the site that can visually take you away from current space as well as create a visual illusion of additional 3D space.
