Hyper-realistic Breaking Bad Cake By American Cake Artist Natalie Sideserf

This eerily-realistic cake of Mike Ehrmantraut, a character from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, was created by American artist Natalie Sideserf, owner of Sideserf Cake Studio in Austin, Texas. “I started sculpting with cake after I got a bachelor in Fine Art. I see cake as just another art medium,” Natalie says. “The inside (of the cake) is made of layers of vanilla cake and Swiss butter cream, once carved, the entire cake is covered in a layer of chocolate ganache and a final layer of modeling chocolate to sculpt the details.” This amazing cake perfectly represents the dramatic and characteristic facial expressions of Mike Ehrmantraut, which is so realistic that it doesn’t look like an edible cake. The Baking Bad cake was used for on a promotional video clip on the AMC network.
