The World’s Longest Glass-Bottom Bridge Looms 201 Meters Above the Lianjiang River in China

Guinness World Records confirmed on 18 July, 2020 that a new bridge in China’s Huangchuan Three Gorges Scenic Area was officially the world’s longest glass-bottom bridge, commissioned by Lianzhou Qingtian Tourism Development Co., Ltd. (China),  the firm Architectural Design & Research Institute of Zhejiang University (UAD) designed this project. The bridge is 526.14 meters long and 8.8 meters wide, can accommodate 500 people at the same time. The suspension of the support system is continuous flexible cables by the ends of the bright red towers, with an 8.8-meter-wide deck composed of three layers of 4.5-centimeter-thick glass lined with steel.
