Hummingbirds shinning the rainbow

A humming bird is a beautiful animal  well known for astonishing wing speed and ability to hover and fly forward and backward with more precision than a helicopter, their feathers are mostly very bright and shine with metallic luster. Christian Spencer,  an Australian artist and photographer based  in Rio de Janeiro,  one day noticed that flying hummingbirds produced  a rainbow effect when the sun struck t these little birds’ wings at a certain angle, he captured this unique phenomenon naturally with his camera without using any special techniques.

These amazing pieces of photographs are from a photo series named Winged Prism created by Christian Spencer.
