Fridge in street serves hungry homeless people

When Minu Pauline, a restaurant owner in Kochi, India, saw a homeless woman getting food from a trashcan, she made a decision and put a fridge outside her restaurant, Pappadavada, so that homeless people can take leftovers from it. The fridge opens all day and receives donations from restaurant patrons and other people. “Money is yours, but resources belong to society. That’s the message I want to send out. If you’re wasting your money…you’re wasting society’s resources.” Minu Pauline told The Huffington Post in an interview.
