Amazingly hyper-realistic drawings by self-taught Singaporean artist

Singaporean Ivan Hoo is a self-taught 31-year-old artist, who uses pastels, charcoal and ink to draw photo-realistic images on wood panels according to photos taken by himself. “I have always loved drawing ever since I was a child but I never studied art and am completely self-taught, then about four years ago I decided to further my knowledge in drawing techniques – in particular realism- and work full time as an artist.” The artist told dailymail.
