Amazing gravity-defying stone balancing art looks like magic – Gravity is the only “Glue” to hold these rocks in equilibrium

Incredible works of rock balance art by Michael Grab, a Canada-born and Colorado-based artist and photographer, will absolutely shock our mind. The artist began practicing rock balance, more or less on a whim, when he’s exploring Boulder Creek in Boulder, CO, USA in the summer, 2008. “Since then, simple curiosity has evolved into a prolific creative passion, and daily meditative practice. I quickly noticed the unique effect that my creations had on myself and others, often inspiring a sense of magic and peace; a sense that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.” Writes Grab on personal website. In the video, Michael Grab shows us the meditative process behind these impressive works, patient, care and creativity, that’s what he must need to create his stone balance art.

  1. I hope you’re not removing those rocks from the streams. You should not rearrange them. Animals and larvae use them and need them to stay where they are.
