Designed by Francois Hurtau, the EVA Modern Aquaponics Furniture is an innovative indoor garden ecosystem that combines an aquarium with plant cultivation, creating a self efficient home farming system. Source

At the heart of the system is a round glass aquarium, above which sits a circular planter brimming with lush greenery. The EVA system ingeniously uses fish waste, transforming it into nutrients for the indoor garden. Ammonia from the fish is pumped up to the plant roots, where it is absorbed and purifies the water before returning to the aquarium, forming a closed-loop ecosystem. Inspired by ancient Aztec farming techniques, the EVA system features an innovative plug-and-play design that uses gravity and light to ensure a constant supply of fresh herbs and green plants in your home.
