Franc Grom, 72, is a Slovenian artist. With creativity and patience, he turned the discarded eggshell into beautiful work of art. It’s reported that Franc Grom had been for 18 years on eggshell carving art, firstly, he uses micro-drill to drill thousands of holes in the shell, and then carving out exquisite patterns, each eggshell has to take months to be completed.
In Slovenia, the Easter egg is in itself an exquisite work of art. Artisans use traditional techniques to draw fine patterns on the eggshells. Each work of Franc Grom sells about $ 500 in Slovenia, India, Japan and the United States.
